Gumball

GUMBALL!!!

So, what have I been up to for 2010. Well i spent the last year and a half as a supervising animator on Cartoon Networks next big thing - a show called "The Amazing World of Gumball".

Its gonna air in September of this year and heres hoping its a successful as we think it'll be. A hell of a lot of hard work went into it by alot of very talented people and it was great to work with 'em all.

Here's a link to 2 of the crew that i thought were class (2 of many, i'll link the rest later)

And when I was at home, I had decided to work on paper and not on the p.c. - So I put everything from the last couple of years into sketchbooks (a photo of my sketchbooks obviously).

Also kept my new years resolution going, decided last year to fill a sketchbook a month. might have only been A6's but I enjoyed it.

Hey. I've been following the development of the series since I first discovered it back in 2009. Unfortunately, not much has been revealed as of yet. I found an updated version of that image you posted, which appears to have a giant hill with legs running in the background. I also saw two seconds of actual footage on a promo for Cartoon Network Latin America.

You say the series may premiere in September. That's twice that I've heard that. But will it premiere in the United States? I asked elsewhere and was told that it was being developed for the United States, and that it was using three actors from the United States to voice the characters. Can you confirm that?

I've confirmed that Kwesi Boakye will be providing Darwin's voice. Any idea who will be voicing Gumball? Is Anais the third character voiced by U.S. talent?

Regardless, I'm stoked about the series. Absolutely stoked. It looks amazing and I hope it makes it to the states.
