Kinda love the angle the original was at, and the construction lines.

Like how this turned out. Less is more etc. Originally the blacks were all done on a nokia phone I had. Pretty basic stylus. (I have more from that "period" to post.) The colours were added last night. Trying to go with alternative colours for things at the moment.

Ed!

I know I've posted this caricature of Ed before but it's probably one of my favourite, especially cause Ed loves it too.

This is the lego man I made of Ed as a present last year. I was really happy with this. It is the spit of Ed. (The head is from the lego samurai and the body is of the lego lumberjack.)

And here's something I found when going through some old art for the retro post. As I remember, I did this during a life drawing class, it appears back in 2000.

Here is a page from one of my notebooks. The original version had a lot less greys... I coloured it in quick last night, looked at it again and then changed it to greyscale. Might post the other versions of it later.

Some bad news last night. So. With that in mind I wanted to finish something that would cheer me up. Trying that faux 3d thing using the widescreen bars... might do more of this.

Thinking of making Wednesdays a superhero themed day too... not sure thou, 3 themed days in a row might be tough. Thank god all I do is draw girls and superheroes!

So here's some of the drawings I did last Tuesday. Tried some out right abstract stuff this time. And then went in afterwards with photoshop on some of them. We added a cloth/blanket to the poses at one point.
